The human response to grief over time becomes formalized, and turns into a date on the calendar. On the day of mourning a departed loved one, a person will grieve sincerely and formally, but he observes ritual and does not allow himself any entertainment. As a rule, however, this applies only to his own grief, his own personal loss. In www.calend.ru September 3rd Today Russia marked a Day of Solidarity in the struggle against terrorism. This is the newest Memorial Day in Russia, which was established by a federal law titled “Days of Russian Military Glory”, dated June 6th, 2005. It is connected with the tragic events in Beslan, when gunmen took hostage one of the city schools.
